Tūmatakuru Scarf

Tūmatakuru, also known as Wild Irishman, is a thorny bush or small tree that can grow up to 6 metres high.

Nicola Jane and I have used its likeness to design some double layered scarves, made here in Aotearoa with 80% wool and 20% nylon. 

The same design has been knitted on both sides, then folded and stitched together on one edge for warmth and reversibility.
